Jennifer Finch, die Bassistin von L7 ist kürzlich verstorben.
"On May 7, 2026, L7 announced dates for the first leg of their final tour 'The Last Hurrah 2026', starting in October. However, on July 13 the band announced that Finch had been diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer, which prevented her from taking part in the tour. Finch's friends and family set up a GoFundMe campaign to help her pay for her treatments, recovery, and ongoing care. She died on July 18, at the age of 59." (wiki).
Ich sah die Band zwei mal. Am 16.01.1993 beim Hollywood Rock und am 30.08.2016 im Berliner Columbia Theater. Die Kenner unter Euch wissen das kleinere Columbia Theater von der Columbia Halle zu unterscheiden (was darauf hindeutet, daß die Band keine große Fangemeinde mehr hatte).
