In contrast to what is commonly suggested, life in Samoa is hard. In my case, I am still suffering muscle soreness at various parts of my body. In addition, I was constantly experiencing the so-called lost-item-syndrome, i.e. permanently checking, if I have all my belongings with me. Last but not least, we had to eat tons of raw fish - yellowfin tuna in the form of Oka or Sashimi.
Now I know why Samoans live in fales. Good night.

For the first time after my injury from the train, today I went for bouldering. I did not know where to go but found in the Internet a place called The Ledge. It is part of the University of Sydney, which by the way has a very scenic Campus with nice buildings. People are friendly and the problems interesting. There are few ones for beginners and unfortunately the grip of the intermediate ones was not good. But the rest I liked.

Somehow, my email does not accept messages from funnybook. When I log into the latter, there is a note saying that they can't reach me. I kept ignoring this and now it turns out that I can't send messages within facebook anymore. This is funny - time to close my account.

I have posted in facebook a link to my new paper about human development and CO2 emissions. Only one person 'like'd it - this is a bit disappointing considering how many likes any stupid stuff gets.

I am accommodated in the Hilton which does not mean that I have met Paris. Not that would want to. Unfortunately, breakfast is not included. The problem is that it is located in Chinatown and I think I have already reported that Chinese breakfast is not so easy.
Today I did some sightseeing and took some pictures of a bridge, but I am afraid it is not Gold Gate Bridge.
I also bought a package of six pairs of socks and got 25% off. Since today was 'friends and family day' I've got another 25% off. Yeah!

I just landed in NYC. It's hot - 18 degrees Celsius! I should have known better - climate change. In the plane there was wireless, but it did not work. When they announced they would do a restart (while flying) I was ab it concerned.
